Refine your character in words with AI editing
Start with a character you like and ask for a small change. The AI proposes an editable look; you decide what to keep before saving or downloading.
1. Choose your character and open AI
AI appearance editing is available on Plus and Pro for Mascots and these animal Companions: Fold-ear Pup, Round Cat, Fennec Fox, Capybara, Lop Rabbit, Red Panda and Teddy Bear. Other characters show an availability message.
Open AI in the Maker and describe an appearance change. Try: Make the body mint green and keep the same face. Select Keep Colors, Face or Shape when those features should stay unchanged.
2. Compare and refine the preview
Use Before and After to compare with the current character. The change list shows the actual fields that will change. Your next request refines the proposed look, so you can say: A little warmer, but keep those eyes.
Apply keeps the proposal as one undoable edit. Discard returns to your current character. Saving and downloading use the current character until you apply the preview. Closing AI preserves the conversation and draft while you remain in the editor.
What can AI change?
Supported changes depend on the character: colors, available face and ear options, finishes and supported body proportions. AI uses the existing editable parts and safe body shapes; it does not generate arbitrary 3D geometry, clothing or new striped textures.
Ear options can be discrete shapes rather than a length slider. A body request may adjust a safe overall silhouette instead of an independent arm length. Check the actual preview before applying.
This appearance editor does not run, speak or record a character from a chat instruction. Dress-up mascots have a separate AI motion-sequence tool. Voice recording uses audio you supply, rather than AI-generated speech.
How credits work
Plus includes 1,000 AI credits per month; Pro includes 3,000. The balance is shared across AI features. Free does not include AI editing.
Each successful appearance preview uses 1 credit, including refinements and previews you discard. Failed or unchanged results use 0. Applying a preview adds no charge. Annual plans also receive a monthly allowance.
