Halcyone Maker's 3D model viewer lets you open .glb and .gltffiles with embedded buffers and images in your browser. External resources and Draco, Meshopt or KTX2 compression are not supported. Drag & drop a file to rotate it, zoom in, and play back every animation it contains. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for — and because the file is read locally, your model never leaves your device.

How to view a 3D model

  1. Drag a .glb or .gltf file onto the page, or click Open file.
  2. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, and right-drag to pan.
  3. Try the sample or search the animation list, then scrub, play, pause, change speed, or play once.

Try a finished character

Honey Bear includes greeting, idle and explanation motions. The Maker link opens the same Halcyone character. Imported GLB files can be inspected here; they cannot be edited in Maker.

Frequently asked questions

Is this GLB viewer really free?

Yes. Viewing and animation controls are free without an account. Model size and performance depend on your device.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your model is read and rendered locally in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so your files stay private on your device.

Which file formats are supported?

Self-contained GLB and glTF 2.0 files with embedded buffers and images. Separate files, folders, ZIP archives, and Draco, Meshopt or KTX2 compression are not supported.

Can I play animations?

Yes. Search embedded animation names, see their durations, scrub while paused, return to the start, adjust speed, and loop or play once. You can also try Honey Bear with three motions.

Does it work on mobile?

The controls adapt to narrow screens. A browser with WebGL 2 is required; large models may exceed a phone’s memory or graphics limits.

Need to record an animation, not just view it? Open the GLB Animation Studio for free preview. Re-select your file there; files are not transferred between tools. WebM, GIF and PNG export requires Plus. Video formats include 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9; PNG uses the current canvas size.
